Our design motif, the trees in the city, exist numerously in various places. They calmly blend into any scene they are placed in. By abstracting a single tree, we tried to reproduce its appearance.
The result is a 155mm square pillar-shaped design. By using the web system to externalize the UI necessary to operate the panel, we succeeded in toning down the mechanical look and slimming down the charger.
It is also equipped with LEDs that change colors depending on the reservation status. By ensuring usability and creating a sense of future, we provide hospitality to the e-mobility drivers who are early adopters.
To create harmony with a variety of installation environments, the exterior can be freely selected from existing siding, just like with “PLUGO WALL”. Its slim form without restrictions on installation location lets users customize it to match the exterior walls and the surrounding landscape of public facilities as well as even homes.
For the widespread adoption of e-mobility, it becomes indispensable for us to present a future in which everyone can choose the design that shows who they are. Even through the designs, we will boost such personal experience value that differs from that of gasoline vehicles.
Another characteristic of "PLUGO BAR" is its scalability as a series. It shares a modular design philosophy with "PLUGO WALL", and has similarities in design tones and exterior options.
Therefore, freely redesigning and turning a space into a charging spot while maintaining a sense of unity in the parking lot landscape is possible through combining the products. More than simply reducing visual noise, it also leads to space branding as a futuristic facility that supports e-mobility.
It is not just about making it adapt to the environment, but also "designing the environment itself" with the future driving styles in mind – Because chargers are responsible in creating the landscape of the future.
